We're working with a small group of engineering firms and project teams to refine DraftIQ before public launch. Beta access is free, protected, and comes with direct input into the product.
Beta users receive a private access code that unlocks the DraftIQ tool. You can upload engineering drawings and documents, run extractions, and download results during the beta period at no charge.
In return, we ask that you:
Your feedback directly shapes the product. Features, output formats, and pricing tiers are all being refined based on real beta user input.
Mutual non-disclosure applies to both parties. DraftIQ will not disclose, share, or use any documents, drawings, or data you upload for any purpose other than providing the extraction service to you.
You agree not to:
DraftIQ is built on proprietary AI methodology, prompt engineering, and extraction logic. These constitute trade secrets and intellectual property protected under applicable Canadian law. Unauthorized reproduction or disclosure is prohibited.
DraftIQ is a productivity and data extraction tool. It is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment.
All output produced by DraftIQ — including valve schedules, metadata tables, and extracted data — must be reviewed and verified by a qualified engineer or designated professional before use in any engineering deliverable, construction document, procurement package, or regulatory submission.
User accepts the following risks:
DraftIQ, its owner, and its operators accept no liability for errors in extracted data, decisions made based on tool output, or any downstream consequences arising from use of the beta tool without appropriate professional verification.
By accessing the tool, you confirm that you understand and accept these limitations, and that responsibility for verifying all output rests with the user and their firm.
Uploaded PDFs are not stored. Documents are processed in memory and discarded immediately after extraction is complete. DraftIQ does not retain copies of your engineering drawings.
Extraction results (the structured output data) are returned to you only and are not stored on DraftIQ servers beyond the immediate session.
What we do collect:
This data is used solely to operate the beta program, improve the tool, and communicate with beta users. It is never sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
You may request deletion of your registration data at any time by emailing hello@draftiq.ca.
DraftIQ, its name, logo, tool interface, extraction methodology, prompt engineering, output formats, and all associated software are the exclusive intellectual property of the DraftIQ business owner.
You own your documents. DraftIQ makes no claim to the content of any drawing, document, or data you upload. You retain full ownership of your source material and extracted output.
DraftIQ owns the extraction process. The methodology, AI configuration, validation logic, and output formatting used to produce results are proprietary. Beta access does not grant any licence to reproduce, replicate, or commercialise the DraftIQ process.
Thank you for applying to the DraftIQ beta. We'll review your application and send your access code within 2 business days at the email you provided.
